Interactive Offers for School Classes and Teachers

The DAI is proud to offer a large selection of english programs for students of all age groups as well as for teachers.

Are you looking for a way to help your students improve their English language skills in an interesting and interactive way? The DAI Nürnberg offers numerous English-language programs, both on-site at the DAI and at your school.


Student Lectures
For larger groups from the tenth grade and up, there is a unique opportunity to participate in student lectures led by experts in their respective fields. The topics covered include U.S. elections, religion, immigration, environmental protection, as well as racism and gun laws, all with a strong focus on the United States.
   

Workshops
Our large selection of workshops offers students of all ages the opportunity to gain practical experience in certain subjects while simultaneously working on their English skills. The workshops are led by experts and pedagogues in the relevant fields, and frequently instruct topics like the environment, rap and Hip-Hop, sports, Human Rights, debating and so much more!


Outdoor Programs

How about outdoor activities that allow your students to improve their English in the fresh air? Our 'English Open Air Classroom' encourages students from the 9th grade and up to apply their current English skills during an exciting tour of Nuremberg and learn new vocabulary!



Our famous Battle of the Books challenges high school students to show off their English reading skills and knowledge of selected novels in an exciting competition against other schools from around Bavaria!


Amerikahaus Youth Club (AYC) 

Teenagers with intermediate and advanced English skills can also join our Amerikahaus Youth Club (AYC), the DAI's very own Youth Club. The AYC meets twice a month and presents the unique opportunity to practice and use one's English in a cool, open environment.


Teacher Training


We also offer Teacher Trainings multiple times a year in cooperation with the "Regionale Lehrerfortbildung "(RLFB). If you wish to be informed about any upcoming teacher trainings, please sign up to our Teacher Newsletter, where you'll receive information well ahead of time.

Additionally, the DAI frequently hosts many exciting events for both teachers and schools.
