All roads lead to Rome?

With EducationUSA, all roads lead to the USA!

Every year, “The American Way of Life” attracts thousands of young people to America as part of an exchange stay at an American high school or university, an internship or an au pair stay.

No matter whether you already know which type of stay you want or are still undecided about which program is best for you. EducationUSA supports you actively, free of charge and without obligation in organizing your stay.

EducationUSA

EducationUSA is a network organized by the U.S. Department of State that provides students with accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date information about study and residency opportunities at accredited institutions in the United States through more than 430 advising centers worldwide.

All EducationUSA counseling centers offer you the opportunity to ask questions about

  • the organization
  • financing
  • the application process,
  • visa and entry process

You will also receive active support in organizing your stay.

But please remember:

EducationUSA counseling centers cannot arrange study or internship positions, they can only advise and support you in organizing your stay. Furthermore, they cannot apply for a visa for you, but they can assist you with the application process.

The DAI as an official EducationUSA reference center

The Amerikahaus Nuremberg is one of many EducationUSA reference centers in Germany. This means that we cannot explicitly advise you on how to organize your stay abroad, but we do offer many resources to help you prepare for it. For example:

  • Books on “the American way of life”
  • Books on preparing for the TOEFL test
  • Books with information about the application process to American universities and colleges
  • Books with information on how to successfully apply for a scholarship
  • Information booklets about high school and au pair stays
