As an official EducationUSA Reference Center, we not only offer advice on all types of stays abroad. At amerikahaus Nuremberg, you will also find a range of other helpful resources and offers to prepare you for your upcoming stay in the USA.
Library
You will find plenty of information and learning material in our library. In addition to flyers and information brochures, you can browse through a number of college handbooks (e.g. from College Board, Peterson's, Princeton Review) as well as preparation books for admission tests (TOEFL, TOEIC, SAT, GRE, GMAT) and application guides or simply borrow them from us with a library membership.
Application Check
For a small fee, we offer to check your English-language application for formalities. It is important that you have read the Terms and Conditions beforehand and have already written your application in English. Your application can then be checked for structure and argumentation and corrected for spelling, grammar, sentence structure or expression errors. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to mail@dai-nuernberg.de.
Proctoring Service
Are you already studying at an American university and would like to take an exam from Germany? Our proctoring service allows you to take your exam on our premises under supervision and according to the requirements of your home university. Please read the Terms and Conditions and send an email to mail@dai-nuernberg.de if you are interested.
English Courses
Our institute also offers a wide range of English language courses. If you would like to prepare for a language test, e.g. TOEFL or TOEIC, for your stay abroad, you can take part in one of our fee-based preparation courses.
